Weather Forecast Cancels Softball's Final Fall Games

The Abilene Christian softball team's last two games of the fall season have been canceled due to forecasted rain and storms, head coach Jo Koons announced Thursday morning.

The Wildcats were scheduled to play Odessa College and Howard College on Friday afternoon. Neither game will be rescheduled.

ACU played seven games this fall, and now moves its attention to preparing for the spring season which begins in early February.

The Wildcats return six players from last year's squad which reached the WAC Tournament and finished fourth in the conference. Koons, who is in her second year leading ACU brought in 15 newcomers (two Division I transfers, four JUCO transfers, and nine freshmen from high school).
