ABILENE - Abilene Christian turns its attention to Kerrville and The Big Texan, hosted by UT Rio Grande Valley on Monday and Tuesday at Riverhill Country Club.

The Wildcats send reigning WAC Golfer of the Week Zane Heusel, Charlie Jackson, Brian Comegys, Thomas Buisson and Grégoire Hoyeau along with individual entrant Preston Cooper.

ACU finished eighth last week at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate with Heusel shooting a final round of 66 to finish in a 10th-place tie.

Heusel leads this week's group with a 72.0 stroke average, followed by Cooper at 73, Jackson at 73.4, Hoyeau at 74, Buisson at 74.4 and Comegys at 75.8

UTRGV, Texas A&M-Commerce, Southeastern Louisiana, Houston Christian, New Orleans, Western Illinois, Stephen F. Austin, Tarleton State, Weber State, Seton Hall, Incarnate Word, Midland College, Ranger College, and New Mexico Junior College join ACU in the 15-team field.
