Wildcats to Compete in Arizona Tournament

ABILENE – Abilene Christian returns to the links on Monday and Tuesday at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Arizona at the Tucson Country Club.
Zane Heusel, Trenton Johnson, Charlie Jackson, Jaime Lewis and Grégoire Hoyeau launch the tournament for ACU with two rounds on Monday and a final round on Tuesday.
The Wildcats compete against Arizona, Utah Valley, New Mexico State, Utah State, Central Arkansas, Long Beach State, Sacramento State, UTEP, Wyoming, George Washington, Nevada, New Mexico and Denver in the 14-team field.
Heusel enters the tournament with a 72.5 stroke average. Johnson checks in at 73.6, followed by Hoyeau at 73.8, Jackson at 73.9 and Lewis at 75.6.
The Cats are in their first tournament since Feb. 20.
