
Cross Country Heads to College Station for Arturo Barrios Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, TX - Abilene Christian University's cross country teams will return to action this Friday, October 20, as they head to College Station for the Arturo Barrios Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M. The meet will feature over 800 competitors and 40 teams from across the country, including several nationally recognized programs.
The men's race will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the women's race at 9:15 a.m. No credentials are required for those attending, offering fans a chance to watch one of the largest collegiate cross-country meets of the season.
Teams in attendance will include Arizona State, Baylor, Boise State, Houston, and the host school, Texas A&M, along with regional opponents such as Incarnate Word, Lamar, and Stephen F. Austin. Several schools, including Colorado and SMU, will only bring women's squads to compete.
ACU will look to continue building momentum as they prepare for the upcoming Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championships on November 1. Key runners include seniors Andruw Villa and Katelyn Coldicott, who have led the Wildcats in previous meets this season.
