ST. GEORGE, Utah – Clare Traeger picked up her 700th career rebound but Abilene Christian lost at Utah Tech on Thursday, 78-69.
Utah Tech scored 50 points in the middle two quarters to take control.
Bella Earle had 18 points and nine rebounds to lead the Wildcats while Payton Hull and Emma Troxell added a dozen points each.
Traeger got her milestone rebound in the third quarter and finished the night with five, putting her at 702. Traer also led the team with three assists. Meredith Mayes had two steals and seven rebounds.
ACU returns to action at 3 p.m. (Central) at Southern Utah on Saturday.
