Sara Carrizales ended their weekend on a strong note after being named to the ACU Tournament all-tournament team on Monday.
Both players proved to be pivotal for the Wildcats and propelled their team to finish the tournament with an undefeated 3-0 record. Those games included a five-set comeback win against the Providence College Friars, and two three-set sweeps against the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks and the Grambling State Lady Tigers.
Box concluded the weekend earning a new career high of 19 kills against Providence College. She also finished with a total of 32 kills and five blocks, all while averaging a .442 hitting percentage.
Meanwhile, Carrizales ended the weekend by earning a new career high of five aces during the Grambling State matchup. She also totaled 48 digs, 10 assists and seven aces through the entire weekend.
Box and Carrizales join a stacked all-tournament team, which includes the following players:

Box, Carrizales and the rest of the Wildcat squad hope to maintain momentum heading into their next game, a rematch with Texas Tech on Tuesday, September 5, in Abilene.
