Fans Welcome at Football Scrimmage Saturday

ABILENE – Abilene Christian football opens its doors to the public on Saturday evening for its first fall scrimmage.
Fans are welcome at the 7 p.m. intra-squad scrimmage at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats started working in Fall Camp at the end of July seeking to improve daily.
ACU begins the season on Aug. 31 in a 7 p.m. game on Thursday night, hosting Northern Colorado. The Wildcats play at Prairie View A&M on Sept. 9 before coming back home to face FCS powerhouse Incarnate Word on Sept. 16.
The Wildcats open the freshly minted United Athletic Conference at Central Arkansas on Sept 23 at 6 p.m. and steps outside of the UAC for a Sept. 30 contest at North Texas.
The first UAC home game for the Cats comes on Oct. 14 when North Alabama makes a Homecoming visit.
After trips to SFA and Southern Utah, ACU returns home for a pair of 2 p.m. games against Utah Tech on Nov. 4 and the conference finale against Tarleton on Nov. 11.
The regular season closes at Texas A&M at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18.
Single-game and season tickets are on sale at ACUSport.com/tickets.
