ABILENE – Abilene Christian wraps up the non-conference portion of its season this weekend with a match against No. 22 Illinois in Waco and a home contest Saturday at 4 p.m. against Prairie View A&M.

The Cats head into the weekend at 8-8 after a 6-1 loss at Texas A&M on Tuesday.
Daniel Morozov claimed the win in that match to give himself a team-leading seven singles wins this season.
Cesar Barranquero and
Savan Chhabra have six singles wins apiece while
Mihaly Deli,
Dario Kmet and
Benjamin McDonald have five each.

Kmet and Barranquero have a 7-1 record as a doubles tandem and Chhabra and
Ethan Scribner lead ACU with eight doubles wins.

Illinois comes in at 10-6 this spring after going 1-2 at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships last month.

nd and Alex Petrov is 96
th for the Illini in singles while Mathis Debru and Oliver Okonkwo form the ITA's No. 52 doubles tandem.

ACU has won all 12 previous matches against Prairie View A&M but the teams haven't squared off since 2020.

PVAMU is 1-12 on the season and led by the doubles team of Diego Hatem and Jorge Juarez at 2-2 at No. 1 doubles.
