ABILENE – Abilene Christian heads to Waco this weekend to take on teams from the Ivy League and the Big 12 Conference.

The Wildcats take on Brown at 6 p.m. on Friday and meet Baylor at noon on Saturday.

ACU goes into the weekend at 8-4 after consecutive wins over Oral Roberts and New Mexico State in Corpus Christi last weekend.

ACU doubles have been a wild but successful ride this season with the Wildcats employing eight tandems.
Cesar Barranquero and
Dario Kmet have been the most successful, going 6-0 at No. 1 and earning the No. 49 ranking in the nation. ACU is 10-1 this season in first-line doubles.

Savan Chhabra have put together 6-3 singles marks to lead the team.

Friday will be the first meeting between ACU and Brown. The Bears are 8-6 this season after losing its last three matches to Harvard, Princeton and Dartmouth.

Niraj Komatineni is 10-0 this season in No. 1 singles duals.

Baylor has won all 12 of its previous matches with ACU and is ranked 33rd by ITA. Jake Finn Bass is ranked 46th and Tadeas Paroulek is No. 77 in singles. Paroulek and Zsombor Velcz are ranked 10th in doubles with Bass and Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi ranked 15th.
