Baseball Position Preview: Outfield

Baseball season finally gets underway this weekend, and as we continue our countdown to Opening Day, keep taking an in-depth look at what we will see on the diamond this spring. The Wildcats and fifth-year head coach Rick McCarty return just 19 of their 39 players from last year's roster, and have added 20 new faces round out the 39-man roster. Today we continue with the middle of our three-part position preview series that breaks down the talent from each spot on the diamond. Today we look at the outfield.

2023 Schedule: Opening Weekend

It is a much more veteran, familiar group than the infield. Of the eight that will see time in the outfield, three return with significant playing time under their belts. Grayson Tatrow, ACU's Division I leader in career home runs, headlines the group, along with returners Miller Ladusau and Aaron Staehely. The newcomers include Jake Skaggs, Logan Britt, Holden Rook, Eric Martin, and Benjamin Greer. It's a very dynamic group that has a ton of speed and power.
