ACU Tandem Pulls Doubles Upset

LUBBOCK – Abilene Christian's Cesar Barranquero and Dario Kmet upset 26^th-ranked Dimitrios Azoidis and Reed Collier of Texas Tech in line one doubles on Sunday.
 
Barranquero and Kmet took the doubles match 6-4 to even the score in doubles at 1-1. Benjamin McDonald and Daniel Morozov battled in No. 3 doubles but lost 7-5. The Red Raiders won the doubles point and went on to a 7-0 victory.
 
The loss ended a two-match win streak for the Wildcats, who take a 6-3 mark into the HEB Invitational in Corpus Christi next weekend.
