ABILENE – Abilene Christian begins the season at Texas Tech and plays an eight-game United Athletic Conference schedule in its 12-game 2024 football season.
With six home and six away games, the 2024 season launches in Lubbock at Texas Tech on Aug. 31. ACU plays two home games each in September, October and November.
West Georgia, a new member of the UAC, visits Abilene for the Wildcats' home opener on Sept. 7. The game will be a non-conference contest.
ACU plays at Northern Colorado on Sept. 14 and returns home for a non-conference game against Idaho on Sept. 21 on Parent's Weekend. The Cats finish September at Utah Tech on Sept. 28 in the United Athletic Conference opener.
Stephen F. Austin visits Abilene on Oct. 5 before ACU heads to North Alabama on Oct. 12. Central Arkansas will be ACU's Homecoming opponent on Oct. 19 and the Wildcats get their bye week on Oct. 26.
The final month of the regular season begins at home Nov. 2 against Southern Utah. After ACU visits Austin Peay on Nov. 9, the Cats have their home finale on Nov. 16 against Eastern Kentucky. ACU finishes the season at Tarleton State on Nov. 23.
