ABILENE – Abilene Christian continues its fall men's golf season Monday and Tuesday at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational, hosted by Wichita State at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kan.
ACU will be represented by Zane Heusel, Grégoire Hoyeau , Thomas Buisson, Charlie Jackson and Brian Comegys.
Heusel led the Wildcats in the last tournament, shooting 215 which included an opening-round 69. Gregoire Hoyeau was at 220 and Thomas Buisson at 221 in the JT Poston Invitational.
Comegys had a 220 in his last outing at the Argent Financial Classic.
ACU finished sixth in the fall opener at the Argent Financial Classic and 12 at the JT Poston Invitational last month.
Along with ACU and Wichita State, the 16-team field includes Air Force, Denver, Missouri State, Drake, Northern Iowa, LaSalle, Seton Hall, UT-RGV, Southern Illinois-Evansville, Texas A&M-Commerce, Rice, Texas-Arlington, Oklahoma State and Hutchinson Community College.
Sand Creek Station is a par-72, 7,187-yard course.
