SEATTLE – Abilene Christian dropped a heartbreaker in Seattle on Saturday, falling in five sets, 16-25, 25-19, 24-26, 26-24, 15-13
Bryley Steinhilber led a quartet of Cats in double-figure kills with 16, followed by Chloe Karn with 15, Breanna Box with 14 and Ashli Edmiston with 13. Madeline Guffy had 52 assists.
Defensively, Andie Sheppard led ACU with 29 digs with Guffy adding 21 and Steinhilber with 19.
ACU hosts California Baptist on Thursday
