Breanna Box had 10 kills and shared the lead in blocks with
Braden Bossier with three each.
Â
Madeline Guffy had 34 assists.
Â
"I've said from the beginning of conference play that any team is capable of winning any given game," said ACU Head Coach Ijemoa Moronu Alstrup. "Wisdom Gym has always been tough to play in and tonight Tarleton battled really hard for the match and we didn't have a strong enough answer. I am very happy with how our graduate student
Hannah Knier (5 kills, 2 blocks) came in a made an impact offensively as well as with her block. We also had multiple players come off the bench and contribute positively,
Izzy Larson and
Rachel Koss being two of them."
Â
ACU continues its road week at Utah Valley at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Â
"We know as a team that we are not defined by one single win or loss so we are turning our attention to the next week of matches and look forward to betting on the road," said Moronu.
