ABILENE – Grayson Tatrow led the way with three hits,
Tanner Tweedt drove in two runs, but the ACU baseball team fell in the opener Friday night to UTRGV, 6-4. The Wildcats (18-19, 7-9 WAC) held a 4-2 lead after two innings, but the Vaqueros (22-15, 8-8 WAC) scored four in the sixth, which proved to be the difference in the game at a very windy Crutcher Scott Field. Tatrow, Tweedt, and
Mitchell Dickson each recorded multi-hit nights for ACU.
