Anttila wins triple jump in Last Chance effort

WICHITA, Kansas – ACU triple jumper Ella Anttila took part in the OBU/GAC Last Chance meet over the weekend, picking up the triple jump crown.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Anttila turned in a distance of 12.54m (41' 1 ¾") in her final attempt of the day, finishing just 15 inches off her lifetime best distance of 12.92m (42' 4 ¾"), which she delivered at the WAC Indoor Championships.

• The Wildcats now turn their focus to the outdoor season, which is set to begin on March 17 with the first day of the Wes Kittley Invitational and Multis in Abilene.
