WBB falls in Sunday tilt with Louisiana

DENTON, Texas — The Wildcats split their games at the UNT Fall Feast after falling 54-38 to Louisiana on Sunday afternoon. The team struggled to get shots to fall and shot under 30 percent for the game. ACU won the first and third quarters, but the Ragin' Cajuns used big runs to open the second and fourth quarters to pull away.

The 11-2 run by the Ragin' Cajuns in the fourth quarter put the game out of reach for the Wildcats.

ACU will be back in Moody on Friday night, Dec. 2, as they host Alabama State at 6 p.m. The Wildcats will host a Daddy-Daughter date night and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

- Madi Miller went 3-3 from deep in the first quarter to score nine of the Wildcats 10 points in the quarter. ACU held a 10-5 lead after 10 minutes of action.
- A 9-0 run from Louisiana gave UL their first lead of the second quarter with six minutes to play in the half.
