ABILENE, Texas—The Wildcats had five different players register double-doubles in a marathon battle with the Ladyjacks of SFA on Saturday afternoon. After dropping a close first set, ACU rallied to take sets two and three behind a balanced offensive effort. SFA controlled sets four and five to take the win.

The Wildcats got double-doubles from Bryley Steinhilber, Ashli Edmiston, Madison Rohre, Madeline Guffy, and Sara Carrizales.
Steinhilber led ACU with 13 kills in the match, while Jada Birkel tallied 12 kills on a .333 hitting percentage.
Guffy led the team with 26 assists, while Rohre tallied 16 and Carrizales had 11.

News and Notes

Both Rohre and Guffy matched season-highs for digs in a match.
Edmiston moved into a tie for seventh for aces in a season, now up to 23 on the year. Guffy moved into a tie for 10^th place with 22 aces on the year.
Carrizales' 11 assists were a season-high.
Steinhilber has now had double-digit kills in six-straight contests.

ACU will head on the road next week for their first WAC road trip of the season. The team will be in Utah, playing at Southern Utah on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT and at Utah Tech on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.
