ABILENE - Abilene Christian men's tennis begins a two-match road trip Thursday at Lamar followed by noontime Saturday dual vs. Tyler Junior College in Plano. The Apache once again are the top-ranked JUCO program in the nation behind a 10-0 record.
The Cardinals (7-6, 0-0 Southland), meanwhile, are in the midst of a four-match losing streak and have been shut out in their last three matches by UT Arlington, Baylor and UT San Antonio.
ACU (6-11, 1-2 Southland) also is in the throws of a three-match losing streak and needs a win vs. Lamar to get back to .500 within the conference. The Wildcats have won their last two vs. the Cardinals by matching 5-2 scores but still trail the all-time series 5-7.

Mihaly Deli lead the Wildcats with eight singles wins and is 3-0 vs. Southland Conference opposition from Nicholls, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and New Orleans. He also has the team's most doubles wins with seven with six of those wins coming at No. 3 with classmateÂ
