HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Sophomore Natalie Jones scored a two goals and the defense was dominant as the ACU soccer team picked up a 2-0 road win at Sam Houston Tuesday afternoon. The Wildcats (7-5-1, 3-3-0 SLC) pick up their second straight victory, with both goals coming in the second half. Sam Houston had a chance to tie it up at one with a penalty kick, but it missed and ACU held the lead. Jones then responded with a PK herself, and the 2-0 lead was too much for the Bearkats to overcome.
