Wildcats set to face Bobcats and Mean Green to begin the week

ABILENE, Texas – After a week of schedule uncertainty and cancellations due to inclement weather across the state of Texas, the Wildcats are finally able to get back on the field to compete. Originally scheduled to play at UTA in the Maverick Classic, the Wildcats are now headed to San Marcos for a Monday doubleheader. After the Mavericks canceled their tournament, ACU was able to schedule a doubleheader with Texas State, another team meant to play at UTA. First pitch in San Marcos will be at 12 p.m. and the doubleheader will be broadcast on ESPN+.

After their Monday doubleheader, ACU will travel to Denton for their originally scheduled midweek game at North Texas. These teams played three times last year with the Mean Green coming away with a win each time. The Wildcats will look to get three tough wins on the road as they get their week underway.
