HOUSTON – After seeing Houston Baptist last Wednesday at home, the Wildcats are now prepping to face the Huskies for the second time in just a week. The team is in the midst of their second three-game road swing of the season and will have another chance to bolster their conference tournament seeding, looking for their 11
th win. With a win at HBU and a loss from UIW, the team will secure a place in the tournament and will have to perform down the stretch to earn at least one bye for the tournament weekend.

SERIES HISTORY
- The Wildcats hold the 8-3 series record over the Huskies and remain unbeaten in Abilene where the team is now 7-0.
- ACU will be looking for just their second win in Houston over the Huskies.
- The last two times the teams played twice in a season, the teams split with both teams winning on their home court. The Wildcats will look to break that pattern with a season sweep tomorrow.
- In their meeting last week, ACU was able to hold the Huskies to a season-low 67 points.

ACU STORYLINES
- The Wildcats continue to have a balanced scoring effort night in and night out. The team has five different players averaging 8.5 points per game or better on the season and have had four players hit double digit scoring in three of their last four games.

Payten Ricks continues to lead the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 14.0 points per game, and has already made 68 threes on the season. His season total of 81 from last year was a school record for threes in a season in the DI era.

Clay Gayman got his fourth start of the season against the Huskies last week and has played well since being entered into the starting lineup against Lamar. He is averaging 13 points per game in the starting lineup and has shot 80 percent from the field.
- ACU continues to be dominant defensively as their opponents have averaged just 62.2 points per game over their last five outings. The Wildcats are 4-1 in those games, their only loss coming on the road at Northwestern State.
SCOUTING HBU
- The Huskies are one of the premiere offensive teams in the country, averaging over 80 points per game. They have been held under 80 points over their last four contests.
- Guard, Ian DuBose continues to lead the conference in scoring averaging 19.1 points per game, including averaging 20.6 ppg in conference play.
- The Wildcats held DuBose to just 14 points last week, but the Huskies put up a balanced scoring effort with four different players scoring in double figures.
- While the Huskies haven't been as lacking on defense in recent contests, the team is still giving up over 96 points per game on the season.
