ABILENE – The Wildcats will open the new year with a trip to Beaumont, Texas to face Lamar as they continue conference play. ACU opened their conference schedule with two impressive wins, at New Orleans and a dominant home win over Nicholls, and look to continue that success this weekend. The team is coming off a tough loss to the No. 25 Shockers of Wichita State, but the team showed a great deal of resilience against one of the nation's top teams. The Wildcats hope to start conference play at 3-0 before they head home for three-straight home contests.
