ABILENE – Abilene Christian's men's and women's cross country teams will be part of a crowded and talented field Saturday for the Texas A&M Invitational, which features teams from Central Michigan, Georgia State (w), Houston, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, LSU, Rice (w), Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, Tarleton State, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT Rio Grande Valley, Texas Southern (m), and Tulane.
Racing begins at 8 a.m. on the Dale Watts Cross Country course with the University men's 8,000m followed by the University women's 6,000m at 8:45 a.m. Admission to the meet is free and results from the various races will be available online at

The South Central region rankings have the Aggie men leading the Texas A&M Invitational field at No. 3. They are followed by Lamar (No. 6), Houston (No. 12), and Tulane (No. 13) while Central Michigan ranks No. 13 in the Great Lakes region. Among the ranked women's teams are No. 5 TCU followed by Texas A&M (No. 6), Lamar (No. 9), LSU (No. 10), Rice (No. 11), UTRGV (No. 13) and Houston (No. 15).

Kevin Kipkosgei – who has one win and one runner-up showing in two races this season – leads an eight-man Wildcat contingent to College Station. He will be joined by classmates

The Wildcats' women's roster will be composed of junior
Carnley Graham, sophomores
Briahna Gerlach,

Allison Taylor,
Soren Underwood and
Aubrey Young, and freshmen
Loren Rivera and
Sarah Wagler. Graham has led the Wildcats to the finish line at both the ACU Naimadu Classic (first place) and Texas Tech Open (fourth).
