
Wildcat Kickoff event set for Aug. 23 at Wildcat Stadium

Register for Wildcat Kickoff dinner
ABILENE – ACU Athletics will host its annual Abilene Wildcat Kickoff dinner event next Thursday (Aug. 23) in the Brown Family Club Level at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the event.
Fans will have a chance to meet and mingle with ACU head coaches and athletics staff, including new director of athletics Allen Ward, head football coach Adam Dorrel, men's basketball head coach Joe Golding, women's basketball head coach Julie Goodenough and new baseball head coach Rick McCarty.
The dinner is $15 per person, but the price will go up to $20 per person at the door. Ward and each of those head coaches will speak to the crowd about their upcoming seasons, and other head coaches will also be in attendance.
In addition to the dinner and the chance to mingle with athletics department personnel, fans will be able to purchase season and single-game tickets for football, women's soccer and volleyball. Those tickets can be purchased at the Wildcat Ticket Center office, located on the ground floor of the stadium (west side). Fans can also pick up their football season tickets and the tickets they purchased to the Sept. 1 game at Baylor at the Wildcat Ticket Center. Also, fans who are not yet members of the Wildcat Club can inquire about joining the club that supports ACU's more than 400 student-athletes.
