IRVING – Two weeks after winning their first tournament of the season, the ACU Wildcats struggled to a 15
th-place finish Wednesday at the ORU/SFA Spring Break Challenge at the TPC Four Seasons.

ACU finished 15
th in the 16-team field, posting a three-round total of 78-over-par 923, finishing seven strokes ahead of Northern Iowa. North Texas won the team title at 13-over-par 865, followed by Rice at 16-over-par 868. Illinois State (18-over-par 870), Oral Roberts (24-over-par 876) and Cal State-Fullerton (25-over-par 877) rounded out the top five teams.

ACU's Southland Conference rivals Stephen F. Austin, Central Arkansas and Southeastern Louisiana finished sixth, tied for ninth and 14
th, respectively.

Alex Clouse was the Wildcats' lowest finisher, carding rounds of 72-79-77 for a three-total of 15-over-par 228 to finished tied for 50
th. The other Wildcat finishers were

The Wildcats return to action March 29-31 at The Goodwin in San Francisco, Calif., hosted by Stanford University. The tournament annually hosts one of the top fields of any in the country, and this year will include defending national champion Oklahoma.
