ABILENE – ACU Athletics is offering fans a chance to see the ACU women's basketball team in the second round of the Women's NIT by taking a bus to the contest at SMU's Moody Coliseum.
ACU fans can get to the second round matchup for only $25 per person, which includes a bus ticket and game ticket. Each person will be responsible for his or her own meals, concession stand purchases, etc. Those who are interested in attending the game and riding the bus need to RSVP to
athletics@acu.edu by 8 p.m. Sunday (March 19).
Fans that are riding the bus need to meet at ACU's Moody Coliseum at 1 p.m. Monday and make their purchase at the ticket window on the north side of the coliseum. Purchases can be made with cash, check or credit card. The bus / buses will return to the ACU campus shortly after the game ends in Dallas.
Monday's game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff between the Wildcats and Mustangs with the winner moving on to a third-round matchup against either Indiana or Saint Louis. The Wildcats punched their ticket to the second round Thursday night with a 66-56 win over Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla. SMU rallied from a 14-point deficit to knock off Louisiana Tech in overtime Friday night.
