ABILENE - Abilene Christian caps its 2016-17 non-conference schedule Wednesday afternoon with a 2 p.m. game vs. Sul Ross State. The Lobos come to town with an overall record of 6-4 and 3-1 mark against the American Southwest Conference.

Live stats will be provided for the second all-time meeting between ACU and Sul Ross and the game also will air live on 98.1 FM – The Ticket with Grant Boone providing the play-by-play.

The Wildcats (5-6) have been off from competition for the better part of a week as their last game was an an 81-57 victory over Murray State at the Shocker Winter Classic on Dec. 17. ACU set a season high with 47 second-half points and recorded their second game of the year with a 50 percent field goal percentage (31-62). Sierra Allen led all players with 15 points off bench for her seventh game in double figures and Sydney Shelstead recorded her fourth four-assist game, tying a single-game career high.

Freshman Breanna Wright also tied a career high with five assits and both Suzzy and Lizzy Dimba scored 14 points. Lizzy additionally pulled down 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season and 11th of her career. Lizzy's performance earned her a spot on the Shocker Winter Classic All-Tournament Team along with teammate Alexis Mason, who finished the tournament with a 16.5 points per game average and won the fifth career Southland Conference Player of the Week Award.

Mason scored a season high 22 points vs. host Wichita State on Dec. 16 and she now has been named to three all-tournament teams in as many years: UMKC (2014), Air Force (2015), Wichita State (2016). The McKinney native knocked down four 3-pointers vs. the Shocker and enters this week's schedule with 224 3-pointers – 15 behind Ashley King for the school record (239).

Elsewhere in the ACU record books, Suzzy Dimba cracked ACU's top-10 rebounding leaderboard playing in her 100th career game with eight boards vs. Murray State. Suzzy has 812 rebounds in her celebrated career and needs 10 more to tie Jody Meyer for ninth place (822); however, it's doubtful she'll be able to catch all-time record holder Teresa Rubart, who pulled down a program record 1,194 rebounds between 1973 and 1977.

Sydney Shelstead also played her 100th collegiate game vs. Murray State. Mason is expected to reach this milestone Jan. 12 vs. Stephen F. Austin and Lizzy Dimba less than a week later on Jan. 18 vs. Nicholls.
