ABILENE - Abilene Christian's men's tennis team will play the first two matches of a three-game homestand Saturday when the Wildcats play host to Tyler Junior College and Trinity University at the Teague Events Center.

The Wildcats first will battle Tyler at 1 p.m. followed by the Trinity at 6 p.m. ACU comes into Saturday's doubleheader at 1-4, while the Apaches and Tigers each are playing their first duals of the spring.

The Wildcats started their year with consecutive losses in Dallas to Troy and SMU before rebounding the following weekend with a solid 5-2 win at Murray State. Unfortunately, ACU would finish its trip to Kentucky and Tennessee with defeats against Lipscomb and Austin Peay.

Through five duals the Wildcats have scored seven singles victories led by sophomore Nico Agritelley and Marco Bensley, each of whom are 2-3. In doubles, Agritelley and senior Guilherme Gesser are 2-2 from the No. 1 spot, while freshman Paul Domanski and junior Jason Proctor are 2-3 between the No. 1 and 2 positions.
