Parker McKenzie was named the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks, the league office announced Monday. Southeastern Louisiana senior linebacker Isiah Corbett was named the defensive player of the week for the second time this season while Northwestern State junior kicker Chris Moore was named the special teams player of the week.
Offensive Player of the Week: Parker McKenzie, Abilene ChristianMcKenzie led Abilene Christian from a 14-point deficit to a 38-35 win over FBS member Troy to give the Wildcats' their first win over an FBS foe since 1959. The redshirt-sophomore from Spring Branch, Texas (Smithson Valley H.S.), finished the game by completing 73.5 percent of his passes (25 of 34) for 312 yards and two touchdowns. McKenzie was extremely effective in the second half, connecting on 13 of 18 passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns. With ACU trailing 28-14 with 9:21 left in the third quarter, McKenzie led the Wildcats to 24 consecutive points for a 38-28 lead with 1:17 left in the game. ACU's win over Troy marked the 21st win by a Southland school over an FBS opponent since 2000.

Austin.Defensive Player of the Week: Isiah Corbett, Southeastern LouisianaCorbett picked up his second defensive player of the week honor in three weeks after notching two interceptions in Southeastern Louisiana's 35-20 loss to Tulane. The senior from Belle Glade, Fla. (Glade Central H.S.), also recorded five tackles, including one for a three-yard loss.

Austin; Garrett Dolan, Houston Baptist; Jonathan Woodard, Central Arkansas.Special Teams Player of the Week: Chris Moore, Northwestern StateMoore accounted for 14 points Saturday in Northwestern State's 51-27 win against Southern. The junior from Plano, Texas (Plano H.S.), hit his second-longest career field goal with a 47 yarder to give the Demons a 17-0 in the second quarter. Moore also connected on distances of 31 and 24 yards while also going a perfect 5-for-5 in PATs.

To receive honorable mention, a player must receive votes from 25 percent of the Southland sports information directors.
