ABILENE – The ACU Wildcats committed too many turnovers, went cold from the field and were outscored 18-7 over the final seven minutes of the game Saturday night as Angelo State pulled away for a 75-64 win in a Lone Star Conference women's basketball game at Junell Center.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 7-10 overall and 2-9 in the LSC, while the Rambelles improve to 10-7 and 8-3 with their second win over ACU in the last five days. The Wildcats don't play again until Saturday when they host Texas Woman's in an LSC game at 2 p.m. at Moody Coliseum.
