Gates' speed a hit in Miami

MIAMI – Former ACU wide receiver Clyde Gates has made an early impression on the Miami Dolphins, thanks mostly to his blazing speed. The Dolphins' fourth-round draft choice sat down with the Finsiders last week for an interview.

The Dolphins will get the season started on Saturday, Aug. 12, when they go to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in the pre-season opener for both teams. Gates and the Dolphins will be in Arlington on Thursday, Nov. 24, for the Cowboys' annual Thanksgiving Day game.
