RICHARDSON – The Lone Star Conference joined forces with LIDS Team Sports to launch a Lone Star Football Festival apparel store.
Right now, it's the only place to get your Football Festival gear with Nike attire including a dri-fit polo, performance tops, t-shirts and gymsack available. Additional merchandise will be available at the event on Sept. 17.
The apparel store will be open for two weeks (until August 15) allowing orders to be fulfilled prior to the event. The store will re-open after the event for another two weeks, giving fans another chance to get the gear.
The online orders allow for co-branded merchandise featuring school colors and logos for all six participating teams, whereas merchandise at the event will be festival specific (no co-branding).
On Sept. 17, the LSC will sell t-shirts, polos, hats, mini-footballs, mini-helmets, and trading pins.
The countdown to the Football Festival tripleheader of games is winding down with just 45 days until the event kicks off at Cowboys Stadium with Midwestern State against A&M-Commerce at 12 p.m., followed by Abilene Christian-North Alabama at 4 p.m. and West Texas A&M versus Texas A&M-Kingsville at 8 p.m.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or by contacting the ticket office at participating campuses. Through Ticketmaster, fans can purchase online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, and at numerous Ticketmaster retail outlets.
A single ticket is good for all three games with general admission seating. Adult tickets are $25 and students $10, with children 1-year and older requiring a ticket. To be admitted with a student ticket, bearer must be between 1 and 18 years old or present valid college ID.
