OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The ACU men's tennis team will look for their third consecutive Lone Star Conference Championship after shutting out Incarnate Word, 6-0 in the Semifinals on Friday at the LSC Championships from the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.
The Wildcats jumped to 18-9 on the year as the No. 2 ranked team in the South Central Region will battle Cameron for the fourth consecutive year in the finals. ACU has won three of the last four with Cameron's only win coming in 2008.
Hach would get a win at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-3 before Hendrie and Desiati would close out the win leaving three matches unfinished. Hendrie would win at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-2 while Desiati picked up an easy, 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles.
ACU will open play in Oklahoma City with the Aggies at 9:30 a.m. from the Oklahoma City Tennis Center for the LSC Tournament crown.
