ABILENE -- The seventh-ranked ACU women's tennis team ran its winning streak to five matches Saturday with a pair of easy wins over the University of the Southwest and East Central University at the Eager Tennis Center.
ACU knocked off USW, 5-0, before routing East Central, 9-0, in a Lone Star Conference match. The Wildcats are now 18-3 on the season and will play Central Oklahoma at 10 a.m. Saturday in another LSC match at ACU's home courts.
The Wildcats had little trouble in either match Saturday as they won every match in straight sets and lost only 24 points in 14 matches.
