Wildcats Travel To UTPB

 ABILENE – The No. 20 ACU volleyball finishes up non-conference action on Tuesday at UT-Permian Basin. The Wildcats knocked off the Falcons 3-0 two weeks ago to extend their home winning streak.
Matches: ACU (19-3, 8-0 LSC) vs. UT-Permian Basin (9-16, 5-5 Heartland)

LAST TIME OUT
With a come from behind win at Midwestern State and a sweep of Cameron University the Wildcats were able to stay perfect in the Lone Star Conference. IJ Moronu earned her first triple-double of her career in the five set win against MSU.

ACU is just one win shy of winning 20 games for the third consecutive season. The Wildcats are 19-3 on the season and still perfect in the LSC.
POLLS
After entering the polls at No. 21 two weeks ago the Wildcats moved up one spot to No. 20 in this week's AVCA Poll. ACU continues to be the only ranked LSC team as West Texas A&M is receiving votes. Season opponents Truman State and Emporia State are still ranked as well sitting back to back at Nos. 11 and 12.
DIG PINK
The Wildcats along with teams across the country will honor Breast Cancer Awareness month as they host their annual “Dig Pink” volleyball match Thursday night against East Central. Dig Pink is the name of the Breast Cancer awareness rally that takes place in gyms all over the country during Breast Cancer awareness month (October). High School and College volleyball teams from all over the nation participate helping the Side-Out Foundation to fight breast cancer through the sport of volleyball.
