Cheerleaders to host clinic

ABILENE -- The ACU cheerleaders will host their annual Junior Cheerleading Camp next month, giving children the chance to perform at halftime of an ACU basketball game.
The camp will be Saturday, Feb. 13, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with registration beginning at 9 a.m. at the Teague Special Events Center on the ACU campus.
The cost is $18 per child if payment is received by Feb. 6 and $20 if received after Feb. 6. The camp is for children ages 5-10. Each participant will receive a certificate and an ACU T-shirt.
The camp will offer those children a chance to learn a cheer, dance and fun stunts from the ACU cheerleaders and perform at halftime of the ACU women's and men's basketball games on Feb. 13.
