Wildcats fall to nation's No. 1 team
ACU's season ends in loss to West Texas A&M

CANYON -- The nation's top-ranked team ended Abilene Christian University's season Friday in the Lone Star Conference volleyball tournament.
West Texas A&M, the tournament host, beat ACU, 30-15, 30-23, 30-19, to advance to the championship match.
The Lady Buffaloes will face Eastern New Mexico, which beat Central Oklahoma in five games.
"I'm real proud of the way my girls played," ACU coach Brek Horn said. "When you playing the No. 1 team in the nation, it can often be frustrating. We held our heads high and played hard."
Haylee Hartline of ACU led the team in kills with eight and Nora Oglesby had seven. Randi Kinzer paced the Lady Wildcats in assists with 27.
The Lady Wildcats defeated Cameron University 30-24, 30-28, 31-29 on Thursday to set up their match with West Texas A&M
