2021-2022: Indoors – at the WAC championship, she placed 12^th in the shot put and 20^th in the weight throw. Outdoors – finished up a strong redshirt freshman outdoor season at the WAC championship by getting 2^nd in the discus (with a throw of 168-10/51.47m) and getting third in the shot put with a PR throw of 50-2/15.29n, which placed her #4 all-time for ACU. In finishing 2^nd at the North Texas Classic in Denton, her PR throw of 171-5/52.24m in the discus also put her #5 on the ACU all-time list in the event.

2020-2021: Indoors – in her first collegiate conference championship, she placed 7^th in the shot put and 12^th in the weight throw at the SLC championship. All T&F athletes can count this as a redshirt season due to the pandemic. Outdoors – redshirt season for Zoe – competed in one meet unattached.

Before ACU: Her HS senior season was cancelled due to the pandemic. But, in her HS junior season of 2019, Zoe won the 1A shot put and discus and also finished 2^nd in the Great Southwest Classic discus. That year, she was ranked as the #19 discus thrower in the U.S. among HS athletes. As a HS sophomore in 2018, she also won the 1A discus and was 2^nd in the shot put.

Personal: Zoe was a 2020 graduate of Rocksprings HS. Her parents are Jason and Allison Burleson. Her sister, Grace, graduated from ACU this past May, 2022 with a BS in Criminal Justice – she was also a manager for the ACU T&F team.
