Fowlkes comes to Abilene Christian after four seasons at first base in high school.

High School:
Played all four seasons for head coach Heather Collier at Wylie High School in Abilene. As a freshman she was the district’s Newcomer of the Year after hitting .430 at first base. As a sophomore she hit .400, as a junior she hit .475 and as a senior she carried an astounding .480 batting average. In each of her last three seasons she was named first team all-district at first base.

Personal:
Her father, Bryan, played tennis at ACU as well as her grandfather, Joe Elrod. 2008 graduate of Wylie High School. Born 22 May 1990.
