2010-11 (junior): NCAA Division II qualifier in outdoor long jump and finished seventh at CSU-Stanislaus in Turlock in 23-11.75w (5.5). Top mark was 24-9 (-0.8) at ACU twilight for team’s season best. Also had 24-0.75w (3.4) for third at LSC meet in Stephenville for only other meet over 24 feet. Also had outdoor marks of 10.75w (3.4) in 100 in LSC prelims, 21.76w (3.7) in LSC 200 prelims, and 47-2.25w (2.7) for fifth in LSC triple jump. Ran on winning LSC 4x100 relay (40.57) and runner-up at NCAA Division II (40.18) with 40.16 in NCAA prelims and best of 39.80 at Baylor for fourth. In first action with Wildcats during indoor season he had top times of 7.13 in 60 at UNM, 23.16 in 200 at UNM, 53.08 in 400 at Texas Tech and 22-9.25 in long jump at UNM.

High school: Competed in basketball, football, and track and field. Top sprint times include 10.7 in 100 and 21.3 in 200. Also attended Iowa Western CC and Southwest Mississippi CC, where he was NJCAA national qualifier in long jump.
