Junior college: Attended Rend Lake College in Ina, Ill. Came to ACU with personal bests of 13.93 and 57.52 in hurdles and 10.80 and 21.54w (3.9) in sprints. As soph in 2011 was finalist in 110 hurdles at Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville and Joey Haines invitational in Cape Girardeau. Also competed in BAAA championships in June 2011 with 14.48 (-0.3) to win hurdles and 21.87 (-1.5) in 200 (third) in Freeport. Placed 6th in NJCAA 110 hurdles in both 2011 (14.04w, 3.5) as soph and 2010 (14.59w, 5.5) as frosh in Hutchinson, Kansas.

High school: Competed for Hayward High School.
