LSC titles (3): Hammer Throw (2012) ... Hammer throw, indoor weight throw (2013).
2012-13 (junior): One of top throwers in NCAA Division II. Indoors he won LSC title in weight throw with 60’2.5” (18.35) for league title team and placed 11th in NCAA Division II national indoor meet with 59’0.75” (18.00). Had best of 60’6.5” (18.45). Moved outdoors to win second LSC title in hammer with 209’10” (63.95) to erase own meet record and finished runner-up at NCAA Division II meet at personal best of 218’0” (66.45) in return to Pueblo to erase own Wildcat record. Threw over 60 meters in all 7 meets and over 200 feet in 6 of 7 meets. Also had hammer wins at Oliver Jackson Classic, Texas-Arlington and Texas Tech with 8th at Mt. SAC Relays at 218’0” (66.44 previous best). Named to all-South Central Region team by coaches association.
2011-12 (sophomore): Indoors his first collegiate competition included season best of 54’4” (16.57) for runner-up in weight throw at LSC invitational in Lubbock. Also had 51’9.25” (15.78) at Texas Tech in limited appearances. Named to all-South Central Region team by coaches association for outdoor season. LSC Field Athlete of the Week for third-place performance at Texas Relays with 207’5” (63.22) to become ACU’s third 200-plus thrower in the hammer. Turned in outstanding season in first Wildcat outdoor campaign. Over 60 meters in all seven meets and over 200 feet in six of seven. Saved his best for last with 210’9” (64.25) for third at NCAA championships in Pueblo in one of best hammer events in NCAA Division II history. Conference champion with 205’5” (62.63) in Commerce for meet record and first 200-foot throw in 78-year history of LSC meet. Also had wins of 210’3” (64.08) at Oliver Jackson Classic, 201’4” (61.38) at Baylor and 200’3” (61.05) at Angelo State.
International: Newcomer to Wildcats’ outstanding throwing squad with best mark of 216’10” (66.11) in junior 6kg (13.23lb) hammer throw from June 2009 in Vannes. One of France’s top junior athletes in hammer throw as member of 2007 team for IAAF World Junior Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic (threw 207’10” (63.34) in qualifying, but did not advance to final). Has best of 227’0” (69.20) in 5kg (11.03lb) hammer at Rennes in June 2007. In 2011 threw 202’7” (61.74m) with 16lb international-college implement July 10 in Maisons-Laffitte.
Personal: Born 23 May 1990. 2008 graduate of Lycee Rabelais High School.
