2012-13 (junior): Had best marks of 170’2” (51.87) in discus for 5th at LSC meet and 194’3” (59.21) in javelin for 3rd at LSC meet for third-place team. NCAA Division II provisional qualifier in both events. Also had top 5 javelin finishes at West Texas A&M, ACU, TCU, Texas-Arlington, Texas Tech and Texas State. Wildcat leader in javelin. Did not compete indoors. Named to all-South Central Region team by coaches association.

2011-12 (sophomore): In indoor season, threw best of 48’5.5” in weight throw (14.77) at Texas Tech. Moved outdoors to register top marks of 149’6” in discus (45.58) at UTEP and 149’7” (45.61) in hammer at Texas-Arlington. ACU’s javelin leader in 2012 with 187’7” for fourth (57.19) at Oliver Jackson Classic in Abilene. His best league finish was fourth in javelin with toss of 180’8” (also sixth in hammer and 10th in discus in Commerce).

2010-11 (freshman): During outdoor season as frosh had best marks of 141’0” in discus throw at Angelo State, 135’5” in hammer throw at ACU twilight and 127’3” in javelin throw at ASU. Failed to score in league meet in discus. Did not compete indoors.

High School: Competed in football, basketball, and track and field. All-district in football at tight end and defensive end. District champion in 25-5A and regional qualifier in discus with best throw of 163’9”.
