2009-10 (sophomore): Had top indoor times of 6.93 for 55 (Lubbock), 7.62 for 60 (Houston) and 23.34 in 200 (Lubbock). Moved outdoors to post times of 11.74 (0.6) in 100 (LSC prelims), 23.34 (0.9) in 200 (LSC prelims) and 52.87 in 400 (Texas Tech). Brief relay appearance in 4x400.

2008-09 (freshman): Squadman at ACU.

High School: Competed in football, basketball, and track and field. Top sprint times included 22.3 in 200. Father Matt Perkins was collegiate athlete in football and track and field.
