Harris had a scoring average of 75 over 16 rounds of golf last year. His best performance was at the Subway Invitational, where he finished tied for third after shooting a 215 at the 54-hole tournament. He shot a 69, his best performance of the year, in the second-round of that same tournament. Harris turned in a solid freshman season in 2005 after transferring to ACU from Hardin-Simmons. He had the team’s third-best scoring average in 2005 (76.1), and had a best finish of 13th at Pepsi Crawford-Wade Invitational. As a high school player, Harris won the district individual title as a senior in 2003, and was a three-time regional tournament qualifier (2001-03). Qualified for the state tournament as a freshman in 2000. As a senior he was a Class 2A?first team all-state baseball player, and a second team all-state basketball player. Born
