Joannes possesses numerous European amateur accolades. When Joannes was 16, he was selected for the European boy’s team championships in Italy. He also won the masters of Belgium and the federal tour competition (amateur division). When Joannes was 13, he was a winner at the Interclub of Belgium, which helped him win the Belgian Player of the Year (under 14 division). His performance as a 14-year-old helped him win the Belgian player of the year award (under 16 division). A native of Semeffe, Belgium.
