ARLINGTON, Texas - Abilene Christian men's golf's
Thomas Buisson was recognized for his strong fall season with University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference Men's Co-Golfer of the Month honors, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon. Buisson split the first WAC honor of his career with Tarleton State's Luis Buech.
Buisson has placed within the top 25 in each of his five tournaments this fall for the No. 154 Wildcats, with three such performances in the month of October. He shot under par in each one. Ten of Buisson's 14 rounds this fall have been under par, including six of eight rounds in October.
Buisson shot 10-under 566 across three tournaments last month. He's led the Wildcats in four of five tournaments this fall.
The Bordeaux, France product tied for 15th place at 6-under 210 at the Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas on Oct. 5-7, his career-best placement and score for a 54-hole event. He tied for 25th at 2-under 214 at the Everett Buick GMC Classic on Oct. 13-14.
Buisson drew for 14th place at 2-under 142 at the 36-hole Florida Atlantic Invitational on Oct. 27-28, his career-best placement regardless of tournament. He shot under par in three of five tournaments this fall while logging an even-par 216 at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic and 1-over 211 at the season-opening JT Poston Invitational.
Buisson shot under par in each round at the Trinity Forest Invitational before carding a career-best 4-under 68 to wrap up the Florida Atlantic Invitational. ACU landed in fourth in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Buisson and the Wildcats begin their spring schedule on Feb. 16-17, 2026 at South Alabama's Hal Williams Collegiate in Mobile, Ala.
