RIVERSIDE, California – The ACU Wildcats, the Western Athletic Conference's Road Warriors in the early part of the conference schedule, are away from home again Thursday to take on Cal Baptist in the first game of a three-game road swing.

ACU is 9-12 overall and 1-5 in the WAC after losing two close games at home in the last 10 days. On Saturday, Jan. 18, the Wildcats lost a 60-54 decision to Cal Baptist and, last Saturday, fell to UT-Arlington, 79-76, in overtime.
At the end of this three-game road swing, no team in the nine-team league will have played as many road games as the Wildcats. ACU will have played six of nine league games on the road after games at Cal Baptist, at Utah Tech on Thursday, Feb. 6, and at Southern Utah on Saturday, Feb. 8.
The Wildcats have lost three of their five games in the WAC by six points or less and two at home last week by one possession. Junior guard
Quion Williams leads the team in scoring (14.2 points per game) and rebounding (5.8 per game). Junior forward Leo Bettiol is averaging 14.0 ppg.
Cal Baptist is 10-10 on the season and 3-3 in the WAC, tied for third in the league along with Seattle and Tarleton State. The Lancers are 1-0 against ACU this season after the win in Abilene on Saturday, Jan. 18. Senior guard Dominique Daniels – the league's leading scorer at 20.5 ppg – scored 17 points in the win over the Wildcats. He scored double figures in CBU's first 19 games of the season before being held to just three points in last Saturday's 76-60 win at Southern Utah.
Senior forward Kendal Coleman is averaging 11.1 points and a team-high 8.6 rebounds per contest for Cal Baptist.
